In-Home
Physical Therapy
At Blue Skies, we understand that recovery and long-term wellness demand both time and commitment. Our contracted certified and licensed Physical Therapists specialize in providing in-home physical therapy for teens to elders, focusing on rehabilitation following injury, surgery, stroke, or illness. We offer the support you need to recover fully and regain your independence. We are also strong advocates of proactive care, providing exercises designed to manage aging and osteoporosis and enhance mobility and independence in your home.

Personalized Care Plans
At Blue Skies Nursing, we know that each individual is unique. That’s why we create customized care coordination plans, which can include a combination of nursing support and coordination with occupational and physical therapy for recovery and independent living, supporting your loved one’s safety and independence at home. This also includes safety recommendations based on your specific home environment in order to improve accessibility and decrease fall risk. Schedule a free consultation to get started!
Certified Physical Therapists
Our contracted physical therapists have a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and are certified as Geriatric Clinical Specialists by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). This certification requires completing at least 2,000 hours of direct experience working with geriatric patients in the past 10 years, completing an APTA-accredited geriatrics residency, and passing a comprehensive examination.
The Blue Skies Approach to Physical Therapy
1
Remediation:
Restoring Functionality
Our primary goal at Blue Skies with Physical Therapy is to help clients regain functionality. Through personalized treatment plans and targeted interventions, we address mobility limitations and strength deficits to facilitate recovery and enhance daily living.
2
Prevention: Promoting Long-Term Wellness
Proactive care is key to maintaining health as clients age. We educate on exercises and lifestyle changes to prevent injuries and complications, emphasizing regular activity, proper body mechanics, and fall prevention to support safe and independent living.
3
Compensation:
Adapting to Change
When clients reach a recovery plateau, we focus on compensation strategies. Our team assists with installing assistive devices, like grab bars, and trains clients and caregivers on their effective use, enhancing quality of life and promoting independence.
