Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Type: Part-time (~20 hours/week)

Pay Range: $25-$40 per hour

Location: Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Surrounding area

Blue Skies Nursing is looking for a CNA in the Littleton/Highlands Ranch area to provide one-on-one home nursing care for our clients. While our team is based in Steamboat, we frequently assist clients who travel to Denver for specialized medical care or surgery. This role requires flexibility, as shifts will be scheduled on an as-needed basis with a few days to a week’s notice.

This position is best suited for someone seeking supplemental income, as there may not be clients every week. However, as our presence in the Denver metro area grows, there is strong potential for long-term opportunities and steady work in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients with ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) including bathing, dressing, and feeding. 

• Assist with patient mobility 

• Perform basic care tasks

• Provide emotional support, ensuring the comfort and dignity of each client.

• Promote quality of life by encouraging patients to engage in hobbies, interests, and activities that bring them joy and foster a sense of purpose.

• Monitor patient progress, address caregiver concerns, and update RNs and Blue Skies Nursing Supervisors based on the scope of practice.

 

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualifications: Active CNA license, CPR certification

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or relevant training.

• Skills: Strong self-management, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Traits: Compassionate, resilient, and adaptable to varying patient needs.

• Requirements: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
